HDFC top gainer on Sensex, stock up 4%

HDFC touched a 52-week high of Rs 915 on Wednesday.

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) was the top gainer on the Sensex. It touched a 52-week high of Rs 915.

At 12:17 hrs Housing Development Finance Corporation was quoting at Rs 906.40, up Rs 37.45, or 4.31 percent. In the last one year stock has gained over 40 percent. It touched an intraday high of Rs 915.00 and an intraday low of Rs 875. It was trading with volumes of 356,015 shares, compared to its five day average of 95,498 shares, an increase of 272.80 percent. In the previous trading session, the share closed up 0.66 percent or Rs 5.70 at Rs 868.95. The share touched its 52-week high Rs 900 and 52-week low Rs 638 on 09 May, 2013 and 16 May, 2012, respectively. Currently, it is trading 0.71 percent below its 52-week high and 42.07 percent above its 52-week low.
