Exit Lanco Infratech, says Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com.
Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, "I am not upbeat on Lanco Infratech. It has disappointed repeatedly and my suggestion is to get out of it. Infrastructure has been quite volatile. Perhaps it is bottoming out and the process takes some time. So this is not a time to take either a trading position or an investment call on infrastructure. It is far better to stay with the IT stocks and with the private sector banks. Those are the areas where focus should be on."
He further added, "With a disclosure that even I hold shares in Hindalco, this unfortunately is not a short-term trade. The momentum sectors are information technology and private sector banks and some other midcaps, but Hindalco is not one of them. If this is part of ones core holding, which means he/she is going to hold onto it for years altogether then it is fine, he/she should not really worry. At some point Hindalco will do well, but it is not going to come very soon."
