Ambareesh Baliga of Edelweiss Financial Services told CNBC-TV18, "We feel that banks should go down further from where it is right now especially the PSU space. So any sort of an upside, we are asking people to book out to a large extent."
At 10:29 hrs State Bank of India was quoting at Rs 1,622, up Rs 9.65, or 0.60 percent.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 2,550 and 52-week low Rs 1,452.90 on 10 January, 2013 and 28 August, 2013, respectively.
