Sudarshan Sukhani, s2analytics.com is of the view that one can short Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank and UCO Bank.


Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, “I would go short in most of the PSU banks except Punjab National Bank. Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank and UCO Bank are all short selling ideas.”
Bank of Baroda trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 127.27 per share. (Dec, 2012). The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 5.91. The latest book value of the company is Rs 666.29 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 1.13. The dividend yield of the company was 2.26%.
The share touched its 52-week high Rs 899.65 and 52-week low Rs 606.25 on 03 January, 2013 and 06 September, 2012, respectively. Currently, it is trading 16.13% below its 52-week high and 24.45% above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation stands at Rs 31,114.62 crore.
