Prefer Cummins India, Crompton Greaves: Tirthankar Patnaik

Prefer Cummins India and Crompton Greaves in capital goods space, says Tirthankar Patnaik, Religare Capital Markets.

Patnaik told CNBC-TV18, "We have been saying that this is not the right time to play the investment cycle right now. We like selective stocks like in capital goods space we like Cummins India and Crompton Greaves. Our analysts have been saying that Crompton will see a bottom over the next quarter or so."
He further added, "Overall if you want to play this revival in the economy it would definitely be through rate sensitives. At that point we still are marginally positive on financials. So we are praying a revival in the economy but not through an investment cycle really kicking off in a hurry."
