Avoid railway stocks, says Parag Doctor

Parag Doctor of Keynote Capital advised avoiding railway stocks as he feels Railway Budget is going to be more or less a non-event.

Doctor told CNBC-TV18, "I have gone through 3-4 railway stocks and most of them are in down trend. Some are in long term down trend, some are in some kind of intermediate downtrend. So, I would not get into these stocks ahead of such an event. This time we already had a rail hike in January. So, the Railway Budget is going to be more or less a non-event. It will best to really not buy any of these stocks as of now."
