Buy Jaypee Infratech, Unitech, Dhanlaxmi Bank: Kapur

Long on Jaypee Infratech with a target of Rs 48 and a stop loss at Rs 43. We believe Jaypee Infratech offers a very unique business model as it is a very nice combination of real estate and infrastructure development. The positive trigger in the stock we feel is that after the commencement of Taj Expressway the land parcels which this company owns on both sides of this expressway will offer very easy and visible monetization.
Long on Unitech with a target of Rs 30 and a stop loss at Rs 26.70. Unitech’s advantage is that after they have exited the telecom business this becomes a very pure real estate play and over the last couple of years they have managed to reduce the debt on their balance sheet to comfortable levels. Also the price of the land bank which they own has gone up substantially, so it is a much cleaner company with better and more visible land bank story going ahead.
Long on Dhanlaxmi Bank with a target of Rs 57 and a stop loss at Rs 51. Dhanlaxmi Bank after the recent fall has come down to very low and attractive valuations. Also the performance of the company is improving. The last quarter results showed very encouraging growth in all parameters. The bank has a very strong presence across Southern India as well as Maharashtra. Also it is a very important takeover target, so we believe that the downside from here is very limited and there will be enough positive triggers going ahead to take this stock up.
Buy Manappuram General Finance with a target of Rs 37 and stop loss at Rs 34.
