SBI and Larsen and Toubro (L&T) are looking good for long term, says Jitendra Mehta, AVP Institutional Equity, Edelweiss.
Mehta told CNBC-TV18, "Market is again a bit premature to start looking at slightly longer trade. But SBI, which has started finding base around Rs 2,500 and a Larsen, which has started finding base around Rs 1,500 both the stocks look good for slightly longer-term." SBI trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 159.22 per share. (Dec, 2010). The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 16.23. The latest book value of the company is Rs 1038.57 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company was 2.49. The dividend yield of the company was 1.16%.
