Public sector bank looks attractive: Quantum AMC

Public sector banks are looking attractive, says IV Subramanium, Director, Quantum AMC.

Subramanium told CNBC-TV18, "I think the highest value is probably in the PSU banks, but in terms of category between mid sized and large sized, there are enough banks on both the spaces, which makes it attractive. But between a private sector bank and public sector bank, probably the public sector bank in terms of valuations they look attractive." He further added, "There could be some risks in terms of slowdown or their ability to pass on the higher deposit cost; but those are cyclical in nature and once you have the liquidity back into the system, I think they will get adjusted. So, it is a mix of both, but personally we attend in more towards the PSU sector."
