Finance Minister announced following measures for infra sector in the Union Budget 2011-2012:

Rural infra development fund corpus raised to Rs 18000 crore from Rs 16000 crore
Rs 2.14 crore to be allocated towards infra development
Infra financial commission to provide assistance to infra projects
