Sharmila Joshi, Fairwealth Securities view on Bharti Airtel, GVK Power.

Joshi told CNBC-TV18, "We saw Bharti Airtel numbers yesterday and what a disappointment there were on all accounts. So I think maybe even two months back Rs 330 may not have seen like a bad price to have bought Bharti Airtel at but today especially when we are looking at the stock at Rs 260 range, Rs 330 seems very far away. So I don’t think it is time to sell because as I said we have seen a correction in the stock." She further added, "I would have said Rs 290 was a good level to get in before this number but obviously after the number we have seen the stock trend downwards but now I think there is not much of a downside left. If one has the patience stay put in both Idea Cellular as well as Bharti Airtel. For Idea things are not going to be much different because after all same sector so the same issues are going to affect both of them. So they will both take time to recover. My guess is that one should not even look at these stocks for the next couple of quarters and only then start tracking them again." "All I can think is that if you were to see one of those bounces that we get in momentum stocks then possibly you can see GVK Power go back to Rs 16-17 kind of level. But otherwise not much to recommend this space at this point in time because there again there are a whole host of issues, which we think will get sorted but nothing has happened on the ground yet. So I would say that if you were a longer-term investor, you would have to be patient but maybe he will get a bump up within the next three months and he could look to exit."
