Freshworks, the Nasdaq-listed software firm, has named Srinivasan Raghavan as its new chief product officer, almost four months after Prakash Srinivasagopalan Ramamurthy quit the position.
“Srini is a key addition to our team to lead innovation that delivers a scalable trajectory for growth across our three key business priorities: employee experience, artificial intelligence, and customer experience,” Freshworks chief executive officer (CEO) Dennis Woodside said in a statement on December 2.
Raghavan has over two decades of leadership experience in the enterprise SaaS industry, having most recently served as the CPO at RingCentral where he drove multi-product growth. His previous roles include SVP of Product at Five9 and director of product strategy at Cisco.
"Joining Freshworks at a time when AI is unlocking new possibilities for businesses worldwide to drive growth and improve operational efficiency is an incredible opportunity,” Raghavan said.
Raghavan's appointment fills all executive leadership roles, the company said . The SaaS firm has undergone significant management reshuffling over the past eight months.
Prakash Srinivasagopalan Ramamurthy quit as CPO in August. The firm had told the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 6 that chief financial officer Tyler Sloat would take up the additional role of chief operating officer. It has also hired Philippa Lawrence as the chief accounting officer.
Girish Mathrubootham, who was the CEO, was made the executive chairman and Woodside took from him in May 2024.
Pradeep Rathinam, the chief revenue officer (CRO), quit in February and Abe Smith took over his role.
The firm appointed former Adobe and F5 executive Mika Yamamoto as its first chief customer and marketing officer in 2023. Freshworks also named Johanna Jackman as the new chief people officer.
