Senior advocate Abhishek Singhvi, representing Udhayanidhi Stalin, clarified that he was not justifying his client's comments but was solely seeking consolidation of the FIRs lodged against him in six states.

The Supreme Court on March 4 strongly rebuked Tamil Nadu minister Udhayanidhi Stalin for his petition seeking either the quashing or consolidation of six FIRs filed in five states over his alleged hate speech targeting the eradication of 'Sanatan Dharma'. The apex court has adjourned the plea for hearing on March 15.
