Tata Digital renews lease of headquarters at Mumbai's Fort House for Rs 3-cr monthly rent

Tata Digital Private Limited (TDPL), a subsidiary of Tata Sons Private Limited, has renewed the lease of its headquarters in Fort, Mumbai for a monthly rental of Rs 2.98 crore, according to documents accessed by FloorTap.com, a commercial real estate data analytics firm.

The documents showed that the total area of the lease is 1.02 lakh square feet and Tata Digital has paid a security deposit of Rs 15.02 crore for the transaction.

The commercial real estate deal was registered on May 16, 2024 and the company has paid a stamp duty of Rs 29 lakh for the transaction. The lease of the company’s headquarters has been renewed for three years, documents showed.

The lock-in period of the lease is one year and the lease commencement date is April 1, 2024. The renewal of the lease implies that the headquarters of the Tata Digital, the company that operates the Tata Neu super app, will continue to remain at the Fort House for next three years.
