Smartworks sets up largest centre in Mumbai, region's portfolio crosses 1 million sq ft

Listed managed office space player Smartworks has announced the leasing of 5,57,000 square feet of office space at the Intellion Park office campus on Thane-Belapur Road in Navi Mumbai, in the Mumbai metropolitan region (MMR), making it the company's largest facility in the region. With this, Smartworks' leased portfolio in the region has cross 1 million square feet, the firm added in a statement.

Smartworks said in a release that the campus, slated to be the largest tech park in Navi Mumbai, is already attracting interest from marquee clients, due to its location and amenities. The Thane-Belapur Road and its surroundings is home to a number of prominent commercial campuses, operated by players such as Mindspace and Capitaland.

Across various cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, and elsewhere, Smartworks manages around 12 million sq ft in leasable space.
