ABB’s Q3CY2025 was resilient with strong revenue growth, though profitability got impacted. The company is betting on the next round of capex wave.

Highlights

ABB India  (CMP: Rs 4990, Market capitalisation: Rs 1,05,742 Crore, Stock Rating: underweight) had a resilient Q3CY2025, with strong revenue growth and sustained momentum in short-cycle base orders. Profitability, however, was affected by QCO-related import costs, forex volatility, and competitive pricing.

Order inflows remained healthy across electrification, motion, automation, and robotics, supported by demand from data centres, renewables, green hydrogen, railways, and electronics. Large project delays in metals and mining are cyclical, and the management expects margins to normalise once QCO approvals come through.
