SMS Pharmaceuticals share price surged 6 percent in the early trade on June 26 after the company received zero observations from United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA).
At 09:21am, SMS Pharmaceuticals was quoting at Rs 254.65, up Rs 15.60, or 6.53 percent, on the BSE.
The USFDA has completed inspection at company's Central Laboratory Analytical Services, located at, Gagillapur Village, Medchal Malkajgiri District, Hyderabad, Telangana.
The inspection, conducted from June 23-25, 2025, which concluded with zero Form 483 observations, company said.
The company is committed to meeting the highest quality standards and is further committed to full compliance with CGMP & GLP regulations at all manufacturing & Analytical facilities, it added.
The “Central Laboratory Analytical Services” is an independent testing laboratory, and this was the second successful USFDA inspection for the facility, company said further.

On May 30, the company received the Establishment Inspection Report from USFDA for the inspection conducted during March, 2025 at Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing facility located at Bachupally, Hyderabad, Telangana.
The company had reported 17.5 percent jump in its Q4FY25 net profit at Rs 20.32 crore versus Rs 17.28 crore and net revenue was up at Rs 248.20 crore against Rs 245.80 crore, YoY.
The share touched a 52-week high of Rs 398.00 and a 52-week low of Rs 175.00 on 23 September, 2024 and 07 April, 2025, respectively.
Currently, the stock is trading 36.02 percent below its 52-week high and 45.51 percent above its 52-week low.
The market capitalisation of the company stands at Rs 2,257.52 crore.
