Rupee opens flat at 66.83 per dollar

The USD-INR pair is expected to move today with a weakening bias and trade between 66.95-66.80/dollar, says NS Venkatesh of IDBI Bank.

The Indian rupee opened flat at 66.83 per dollar on Wednesday against previous close of 66.84.NS Venkatesh of IDBI Bank said, "The USD-INR pair closed at 66.84/dollar taking cues from the equity market and also dollar strengthening against emerging market currencies.""The USD-INR pair is expected to move today with a weakening bias and trade between 66.95-66.80/dollar," he added.Also Read - See rupee heading to 67.50/$ mark in near term: HDFC Bk The dollar slipped marginally against the euro and other safe haven currencies like yen and Swiss Franc.
