Many stocks trading at high PE multiples but recent correction has helped reduce froth in market, says Kotak AMC’s Harsha Upadhyaya

'Most sectors have participated in the rally over the last few years, but private banks stand out as offering valuation comfort,' Upadhyaya said at the Kotak AMC Market Outlook 2025 event.

“Despite recent slowdowns and corrections, automobiles present a promising outlook,” he said adding that Kotak AMC’s latest NFO focuses on transportation and logistics, where we believe “valuations are lower than their long-term averages”.
