Invest with caution; positive on pharma: Capitalmind.in

Deepak Shenoy, founder, Capitalmind.in advises caution over jumping into investing fray because earnings so far have been mixed. This earnings quarter in general hasn’t been positive although some companies have done extremely well and some of the banks too have posted better than expected numbers, says Shenoy in an interview to CNBC-TV18. So, one has to pick stocks carefully in this market, he adds.As a theme, from a mid to longer term perspective, he is positive on companies in pharma space, railway space. Textiles have run up a lot, so be cautious before entering over there but they are showing momentum, he adds.Although Dr Reddy's showed good performance in the first quarter, he is yet undecided on adding it up to the portfolio because they already are a bit overweight with pharma.
