Indian mutual funds ride US rally in June as Big Tech boosts global bets

Meta, Microsoft, Amazon lead Rs 1,200-plus crore gain in foreign portfolios; PPFAS, Motilal Oswal among top beneficiaries despite regulatory buying curbs

These mark-to-market gains were in line with a strong month for US equities. The S&P 500 rose 4.96 percent in June, pushing its year-to-date return to 5.50 percent. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also gained 4.32 percent during the month. Despite the monthly gains, mid- and small-cap indices remained negative for the year.
