Asian equities are a tad weak, following a lower close on Wall Street as geopolitical tensions continue to weigh. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Geoff Lewis, Global Strategist-Capital Markets Group at Manulife Asset Management said that global markets are firm.
Lewis said that it may not be a bad time to book profits. "In Asia, we particularly like China, some of the industrial shares which are profiting from the anti-deflation, the positive PPI. We like technology stocks in Asia, we like Korea and we also like some of the domestic oriented markets like Indonesia, India. We can find a lot of investment attractive opportunities," he said.
