The market had a volatile session today. There was a slight pull back after clarifications from the finance ministry on P-notes issue. The Nifty is 35 points up and close to the 5,200-mark.
The midcap index is flat, with no meaningful move in the broader market and the advanced decline ratio actually remaining quite negative. The market got some respite from the flat trade in the morning because of clarification from Delhi.
