Here are experts equity calls for the day on how the markets are expected to trade:

Ridham Desai, Morgan Stanley: The recent sell-off has made India's valuations attractive. Our view is that the worst for earnings is behind us and we see a much better trajectory for earnings than what is being priced in by consensus. We are overweight financials, energy, consumer discretionary, technology, industrials and materials. Michael Kurtz, Nomura: The composure shown by global stocks in the face of recent growth stumbles and political uncertainties says a lot about how far the capacity to bear risk has come since last year. This may ultimately prove a crucial waypoint for the long-term prospects of equities.
