Reliance Jio Infocomm, a subsidiary of Jio Platforms, has announced an 'unlimited offer' for existing and new Jio SIM customers ahead of the upcoming season of Indian Premier League (IPL), a statement by the company said on March 17.
Customers with a Jio SIM along with a plan of Rs 299 and above can enjoy JioHotstar in 4K for free on TV or mobile for 90 days, along with free JioFibre wifi or the advanced AirFibre connection trial at home for 50 days.
The free wifi connection trial, announced as part of the offer, would provide users with unlimited wifi, along with over 800 TV channels, more than 11 OTT apps, and more.
In order to avail the offer, existing Jio SIM users need to recharge with a plan of Rs 299 (1.5 GB per day) or above. New users can get a new Jio SIM card with the above mentioned pack or a higher plan.
The recharge needs to be done between March 17 to March 31 to be eligible for the unlimited offer, the statement said. Existing users who have recharged before March 17 can still opt for the offer by opting for a Rs 100 add-on pack. The free JioHotstar connection will be activated for users from March 22 for a period of 90 days. Subscribers can check out details on jio.com or visit the nearest Jio store.
