For some CXOs, Gen AI has been a productivity booster, reducing the time lag as well as churning out ideas in quicker time.
For some CXOs, Gen AI has been a productivity booster, reducing the time lag as well as churning out ideas in quicker time.

Nearly one year after its launch, CXOs of Indian start-ups wield ChatGPT-like Generative artificial intelligence (AI) as a silent artisan, sculpting efficiency. From expediting idea generation to automating repetitive tasks and saving operating costs, leaders have harnessed AI's prowess.

In data analytics, Generative AI, also known as GenAI, accelerates exploratory data analysis (EDA), streamlining insights extraction. HR tech adopts it to gauge candidates' adaptability, evaluate dynamic work environment fit and alignment with team dynamics. Minimising manual intervention, CXOs say, propels efficiency, enabling teams to focus on strategic initiatives.

Generative AI is designed to generate new, original content. Unlike traditional AI systems that are programmed to perform specific tasks or make decisions based on predefined rules, generative AI can create content autonomously. This type of AI relies on neural networks, particularly recurrent neural networks (RNNs) or transformer models, to analyse and see patterns from large datasets.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT, DALL-E and UIzard, NVIDIA’s StyleGAN and Google’s DeepDream are among the most popular Gen AI used by people in decision-making.
