Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana or SAGY is a new experiment that has been launched by the Modi administration under which members of parliament are encouraged to adopt villages and use their resources and leadership skills to handle development projects.

Over 670 members of parliament have adopted villages across India under this scheme. Has the scheme been able to achieve what it was intended for?
