India, Vietnam discuss bilateral cooperation in IT

India and Vietnam today discussed a plan to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of information technology.

India and Vietnam today discussed a plan to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of information technology.

Electronics and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today met Truong Minh Tuan, Minister for Information and Communications of Vietnam, to discuss areas related to strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the field of IT, a release said.

"To carry forward the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) signed in 2016 between India and Vietnam in the field of IT, a joint implementation plan has been signed between the two countries during the meeting," it said.

The meeting was held at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology in New Delhi.
