The first part of the Budget session has drawn to a close, and so far it seems to be shaping up into one of the more productive sessions we have seen in recent times.
The government has managed to push through quite a few pieces of key legislations like the Insurance Bill, the Coal Bill and the MMDR Bill.
A triumphant Finance Minister says that some pending legislation like the Black Money Bill have been tabled, and will be taken up once the session resumes after a month-long recess.

Jaitley also hopes that the GST Bill which will be introduced post the recess will be passed by general consensus.
