GST rollout: KC Tyagi hopeful of meeting Apr 2016 deadline

CNBC-TV18’s Rituparna Bhuyan caught up with one of the select panel members KC Tyagi, who remains optimistic that the GST rollout deadline of April 1, 2016, can still be met.

“Select committees’ report will be final. If somebody disagrees with it they can put their dissent note and representative from the major political parties they all have been included,” he said.

The committee will present its report in the first week of the next session of Parliament.
