Expediting green nod, Veerappa Moily, who recently took over as the environment minister, has said that all pending proposals with the environment ministry will be cleared by February 15.

“As and when it comes, the proposals, we always ensure it is not kept pending in the ministry. That is why, all the files and matters that are pending, I hope to clear everything by February 15,” he said.
Speaking on CNBC-TV18, Moily also said that he accepts the Supreme Court’s plan for a green tribunal.
“I need to work out or chisel out the appropriate place for the regulator which is intended by the forest law and what the Supreme Court has re-iterated, while we do it with utmost certainty and clarity so that you know it will not be another cause for delay,” he added.
