Allocation mode will be open to SC review: Soli Sorabjee

Former attorney-general Soli Sorabjee told CNBC-TV18 that the manner of allocation will certainly be open to judicial review.

The Apex Court's decision was welcomed by petitioners as well as members from the legal fraternity. Former attorney-general Soli Sorabjee told CNBC-TV18 that the manner of allocation will certainly be open to judicial review.

"If a particular allocation is not implemented in a fair manner or affected by extraneous factors, the court will interfere. The only relief relieve is that to the extent that the allocation were not made by auctions. So that won't render those allocations illegal, to that extent. But the manner of allocation will certainly be open to judicial review," said Soli Sorabjee.
