Phillips Carbon Black Company (PCBL) reported a net profit of Rs 147.98 crore in the quarter ending December 2023, marking a 52 percent jump as against the year-ago period.
Consolidated revenue from operations was up 21 percent on-year to Rs 1,656.76 crore in the same period.
The company's revenue from black carbon grew 21 percent YoY to Rs 1614.96 crore in Q3FY24. While revenue from the power segment increased 32 percent YoY to Rs 49.59 crore in the October-to-December quarter.
The company announced an interim dividend of Rs 5.5 per share and the record date was set as January 29.
PCBL stock closed 3.34 percent up at Rs 275.15 on the National Stock Exchange.
PCBL manufactures carbon black and its by-products.
