Mid and small-cap stocks lead in India while large-caps dominate the US markets

Since April 2023, the BSE MidCap and BSE SmallCap indices have surged around 102 percent and 110 percent, respectively, while the benchmark Sensex and Nifty gained 38 percent and 44 percent.

The benchmarks Nifty 50 and the Sensex ended the session in the red, slumping from early session highs.
