Jubilant Food Q3 net rises 4.2%, same-store-sales surprises

Jubilant Foodworks, the operator of Domino's Pizza brand in India, matched street expectations on all counts while surprising with same store sales growth. Net profit increased year-on-year to Rs 35 crore during October-December quarter, supported by upward trajectory in revenues, customer driven marketing initiatives and business efficiencies.

Total income from operations grew 21.4 percent to Rs 554.4 crore in the quarter ended December 2014 compared to Rs 457 crore in the year-ago period, aided by positives in the macro environment.

"Festivities and price increase in Q3 FY15 partially benefitted overall revenue growth," said the company.
