Hope to accelerate on momentum going ahead: Future Retail

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Rakesh Biyani, Joint MD of Future Retail spoke about the results and his outlook for the company.

Big Bazaar as a format has grown 16 percent on like for like basis and year-on-year it's a 21 percent growth, said Biyani.

"The next two quarters are going to be critical to maintain momentum. We are hoping that we can accelerate on the momentum," he said.

We consider Big Bazaar and Fbb as one unit and more than 70 percent of the business is dependent on it, added Biyani.
