Gross NPAs may decline further to 1.2% going ahead: SREI Infra

SREI Infrastructure witnessed a rise in net profit in the second quarter of current fiscal to Rs 61.9 crore from Rs 51.6 crore in the first quarter. This was on the back of a rise in construction equipment finance in the quarter.

In the last year the gross non-performing assets (NPA) have declined from 3 percent to 1.5 percent, says Hemant Kanoria, Chairman and Managing Director of SREI Infrastructure Finance. Going ahead, he sees a decline to 1.2 percent.The company witnessed a rise in net profit in the second quarter of current fiscal to Rs 61.9 crore from Rs 51.6 crore in the first quarter.
