Good monsoon, rural demand to aid growth: Bosch

Auto component manufacturer Bosch today reported below expectation first quarter numbers with net profit of Rs 378.7 crore as against Rs 376 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. Total income came at Rs 2519.5 crore while the EBITDA margins contracted 300 basis points to 17.9 percent. Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Steffen Berns, MD of Bosch, said that the company continues to see growth in the automotive sector and lighter commercial vehicles segments. However, the three-wheeler segment suffered due to subdued exports.Berns expects growth to return with position macro indicators.
