Forex volatility hurt Q2 revenues: Sharda CropChem

RV Bubna, CMD, Sharda CropChem says this fall was on the back of controlled sales in Latin America, Mexico, Cananda and South Africa due to excessive currency devaluation.

Sharda CropChem's second quarter revenue declined 11.2 percent to Rs 237 crore.

Speaking to CNBC-TV18, RV Bubna, CMD of the company says this fall was on the back of controlled sales in Latin America, Mexico, Cananda and South Africa due to excessive currency devaluation. Though the company registered 135 products in Q1 and 55 in Q2, he says revenue growth is lagging due to exchange rate fluctuation

However, volumes have risen in European Union and NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) region, Bubna adds.
