VA Tech Wabag posted a steady set of earnings but margins were a bit of a disappointment. The company concentrates on treatment plants including recycle and reuse.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Rajiv Mittal, MD & Group CEO of VA Tech Wabag spoke about the results and his outlook for the company.
“We have got just the first project in Namami Gange getting announced and we are bidding for it. Going forward, there are lot of other projects in pipeline which should happen in next couple of quarters”, he said.
Namami Gange project allocation is Rs 20,000-25,000 crore. He expects to get 20-25 percent of Namami Gange orders.
He expects revenue to grow by 25 percent over next two years
The company has always used its internal accrual to fuel the growth, he said. "If we get projects like Namami Gange and other capital projects, where we need to infuse some equity, then only we will raise capital", said Mittal.
He also expects order inflow growth of over 25-30 percent in FY18.
