PVR posted a good set of earnings in Q2 as EBITDA and profit after tax beat estimates. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Nitin Sood, CFO of PVR spoke about the results and his outlook for the company.
Revenues were flat in Q2 because box office was slow in the quarter, said Sood.
He expects bounce back in revenues in Q3 as a lot of big films slated in the quarter.
"Q4 is a seasonally weak quarter, so margin should look lower in Q4 but on annual basis we target 18 percent operating margins. We are aiming for that and we are hoping we will get there," he said.
We have kept our pricing completely muted, our average ticket price growth has been about 1 percent this quarter, he mentioned.
