Engineers India Q1 profit may grow 10%; consultancy & lumpsum turnkey may aid revenue

Revenue during the quarter is seen rising 17 percent year-on-year to Rs 397 crore, driven by both consultancy & lumpsum turnkey segment.

Engineers India is expected to report a 10 percent growth in profit at Rs 88 crore for April-June quarter, against Rs 80 crore in same quarter last year.

Revenue during the quarter is seen rising 17 percent year-on-year to Rs 397 crore, driven by both consultancy & lumpsum turnkey segment.

Operating profit may increase to Rs 79 crore from Rs 73 crore but margin may shrink to 19.9 percent from 21.4 percent on year-on-year basis due to product mix. In Q1FY17, the company had a provision write back.

Order inflow and margin will be closely watched.
