eClerx aims for 30% margin; eyes digital biz, inorganic growth

eClerx Services is aggressively looking for digital business opportunities, and strongly pursuing inorganic growth, Chief Financial Officer Rohitash Gupta told CNBC-TV18. The company reported weak earnings in the third quarter of the current fiscal, missing earnings estimates for the fourth staright quarter. Multiple headwinds led to weak earnings but he hopes to retain 30 percent margins in FY17 and FY18, Gupta said. The performance over the next couple of quarters will be in the range similar to the quarter gone by, he says.
