Dabur Q1 net may grow 14%, volume growth likely to rise 5-7%

Dabur is expected to post net profit at Rs 298.4 crore in April-June quarter, up 14.3 percent from Rs 261.1 crore in corresponding quarter last fiscal. According to CNBC-TV18 poll, total income may rise 9.3 percent at Rs 2261 crore against Rs 2069.5 crore.

During the quarter, EBITDA is seen up 26 percent at Rs 365.5 crore against Rs 345.6 crore while margins may stand at 16.2 percent versus 17.7 percent (YoY).

Domestic volume growth in Q1 is seen 5-7 percent while gross margins are seen around 54.5-55 percent (70-120 basis points).

Strong summer may improve sales of juices and oral care is expected to grow in double digits.
