Confident of targeting 20 percent of profits this year: MMTC

MMTC reported good Q1. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Ved Prakash, CMD of MMTC spoke about the results and his outlook for the company.

This quarter has been good and we hope the whole year (FY18) turns out to be one of the best years. We should be doing better profits this year than last year, he said.

Prakash is confident of targeting 20 percent of profits this year.

MMTC has 50 acres of land in Bihar, 2-5 acres in Goa, 200 acres in Haldia and 75 acres in Kandla and has a firm plan to utilise and monetise these plans either by creating warehouses or having joint ventures.
