See no reason for skilled labour to fear Trump's moves: Hexaware

Hexaware Technologies' Executive Director and CEO R Srikrishna says he would be surprised if there is any material movement in the US President elect Donald Trump’s policy with respect to skilled employment. More actions are likely on unskilled and illegally employed side, he adds.

Hexaware Technologies inaugurated a new delivery centre in Chennai that will deliver critical back and front office services to global clients. Tele2 is one of the initial clients to be serviced from the new centre, although there are many other clients.

Speaking to CNBC-TV18 Executive Director and CEO R Srikrishna says he would be surprised if there is any material movement in the US President elect Donald Trump’s policy with respect to skilled employment. More actions are likely on unskilled and illegal employment side, he says.

About 40 percent of the company’s North American employee base is on H1-B visa, he says.  

The Europe business is about 13 percent of overall revenues so while there is some impact due to the depreciation of pound it has not been significant. However, rupee tailwind will offset the impact, he adds.Watch video for more...
