In five years, India could be the second largest market for luxury clothing company Paul & Shark, says the company’s CEO and President Andrea Dini in an exclusive interview to CNBC-TV18.
Dini believes that growth in India is much steadier than other countries like Russia and China.
Paul & Shark, which operates through a 50:50 joint venture (JV) with Reliance Brands in India, plans to open at least 3-4 more stores here in the next 2 years.
“We are planning to open stores in Kolkata, Chennai, Pune and at Delhi airport,” Dini says.
While highlighting the need for a multi-brand luxury environment in India, Dini points out that it is much easier to open mono brand stores in the country.Watch video for more...
