Myntra growing at 80% YoY; witnessed great traffic during sale

Flipkart’s Big Billion Day sale is over and it is time for the company to rejoice looking at the reported sales numbers. The e-commerce giant has managed to cross its rival Amazon by selling 15.5 million units during the sale.Myntra too had a terrific start to the festive season, says the online portal’s CEO Anantha Narayan. Flipkart has taken over Myntra in 2014. Sales and traffic were both great for the e-retailer. “Myntra is seeing 80 percent growth year-on-year,” Narayan told CNBC-TV18.He is upbeat on implementation of the Goods & Services Tax (GST) Bill too that will simplify supply chains for e-retailers.Watch video for more..
