Shiv Nadar’s HCL Corporation has diversified into the healthcare sector through its subsidiary Avitas. The company has announced an investment of Rs 1,000 crore. It is aiming to cover 20 million people by 2020.

It has tied up with US-based Johns Hopkins Medicine International for knowledge sharing and training. The initial focus will be on the Delhi NCR region.
