In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Anurag Mundra, Joint MD & CFO of Ujaas Energy spoke about the latest happenings in the company.
Last year we did around 75-80 megawatt and this year we are likely to do 150 mw of solar power installing, said Mundra.
He added that the government is giving a lot of focus on solar power and specifically on solar rooftop which is a fundamental strength of solar power.
"Majority of our customers does not sell power to government entities or does not participate in power purchase agreement (PPA) bid. They sell power through open excess where they are still able to get more than Rs 4.6 a unit," he added.
We have an order book position of 40 mw and a bid book position of around 75 mw as of now, said Mundra.
On business front, he said that currently they are not planning to raise money.
He further added that increase in marketing spend led to increase in other expense in Q4.
